Summary
Post ch1, Damon’s mind is left reeling after the class trial. He winds up finding slight solace, not that he’d admit it, with Kai, Diana, and Desmond’s ongoing breathing. The wobble in Diana's voice, the small circles Desmond paces, the slight shake in Kai’s hands, and the short intakes of breath, mean they’re all still alive. Learning to live in the killing game is truly the most contradictory thing.
Discontinued fam. So sorry but after recent events I just can't find it in me to pick this back up ever. I enjoyed writing these characters back when I used to have the time for it. I'm not orphaning the work because I might revisit the AU one day, but not anytime soon.
