Summary
In the wake of the Roaring, reality is still a little unstable. Things leak through, forming small pockets of Darkness called Dark Bubbles, housing dangerous creatures called Darklings. Aside from that, though, things have settled into a new normal. School, work, and adventure.
But sometimes, things more potent leak through the cracks in reality. Dark Worlds that should not have existed in this reality, and yet do anyway. Creatures stronger than mere Darklings or Titanspawn, ruling small kingdoms of Darkness. And to top it all off, nobody in Hometown can really be considered 'normal'.
A continuation of the world and characters of Persistent Variables. Persistent Variables is required reading.

Summary
Truthfully, Ralsei did not remember what it was like to become real. One second he was a concept, a dream given life through shadow, through the Dark Fountain. The next, he was flesh and blood, fur and skin.
Ralsei tries to find reason for his newfound existence as a lightner. Dess tries to find a reason for her continued life. Kris finds their reason.

Summary

Summary
Following a disastrous battle, two warriors, Delmonte and Trin, desert their posts and set out west for Delmonte's homeland. Trin is in dangerous territory; his tribe was infamous for its command of the undead, especially throughout the war. He must disguise his identity and ability throughout the journey, but there's one problem.
Delmonte is dead, and without Trin's power animating his corpse, he'll never make it home.
