Summary
Dean Winchester was everything to anyone but nothing to himself.
Having to be the parent for his little brother and a reliable son for his unstable father, Dean doesn’t have the luxury or time to figure out who he is and what he wants to do with his life. Though, he always believed that he would. Maybe after he put Sam through college, maybe after his dad finally decided to put his life back together, maybe after Sam leaves, maybe after Dean finally saved up enough money to leave —so many thought of maybe had passed by along with his years and youth that if Dean looked at himself in a mirror, all he could see are versions of what others needed from him.
Dean belonged to everyone but to himself. It terrified him, scared him, but he needed to go on. He couldn’t afford to break. Who would want him —need him— if he did?
“Kneel, Dean. Succumb and kneel, and I’ll raise you from perdition myself.”

Summary
What happens when an author halfway abandons their work to move on to another? More specifically, what happens to their creations who are forgotten? You wouldn’t think of it as a big deal but you couldn’t have been more wrong than you are right now.
Purp, a forgotten creation, is left alone to wonder about the unfinished world their creator has left for them. Only ever interacting with the other Egos just like they’re made to do, the loyal thing, but they were fine with that. After all, it’s one of the few things that gives Purp some sort of connection to the being who gave them life.
But then there comes the day when everything fell out of place and for once in their life, they thought that life would’ve been better...if they remained unfinished.

Summary
Dean has spent most of his life drifting between one-horse towns, drowning himself in short-lived pleasures and the certainty that no one ever stays.
Until he finds himself with a bullet buried in the gut, deep in a desert that the locals claim is cursed - that once you go in, you don’t come back out.
He’s saved from bleeding out by a handsome stranger, but as they trek through the inhospitable wilderness together, it turns out that the only thing worse than being stuck in the desert alone, might be to be trapped there with someone you can’t trust.

Summary
Castiel liked quiet. He liked predictable. You could probably call him boring and not be wrong, but Cas didn't care. He was happy that way.
Until one day, his street got torn up as a construction crew moved in, loud and persistent and, as far as Cas was concerned, specifically sent to ruin his life. Especially one construction worker who seemed to take that job personally.
Dean had to be boring. He had to be quiet, predictable, and boring. Because those were the pillars of stability.
With a bipolar diagnosis and the baggage of everything he blew up on the road to getting it, he knew better than to take the little things for granted. Then, a regular job on a regular street brought C. Novak into his life. C. Novak, who was rude, infuriating, and, unfortunately, smoking hot.
Cas and Dean both had to learn to make room for things that mattered, even if they weren't little joys. Even if they could be disruptive. And annoying. And they had to learn to navigate the room that was made for them.
Somehow, between the arguments and minor freak-outs, they both had to learn how to make space for something bigger than routine.

Summary
Life is nothing but a series of processes. We rise, we work, we function within the walls we’ve designed for ourselves. Dean Winchester does not deviate from this system. Heavily tattooed and a certified genius; Dean necessitates control. Relationships are a no-go. Too messy, unpredictable. And yeah, he knows having casual sex with his best friend, roommate, and business partner is a dumbass move. But Cas’ suggestion is impossible to resist.
What Dean doesn’t expect and couldn’t possibly predict is the unique way Cas manages to shut down his mile-a-minute mind, giving him a level of inner peace he’d thought to be unattainable.
What starts out of convenience morphs into a dynamic emotional slide neither of them were prepared for, forcing them to decide what they’re willing to risk.
