"Why are you called Five Pebbles?"
Through much trial and error, the Artificer succeeds in teaching the Iterator, Five Pebbles, her kind's language. And now that their communication can go both ways, she wastes no time in asking one of the questions that have gnawed at her since her first meeting with him:
Why exactly is he called Five Pebbles, of all things?

Summary
Taylor triggers earlier than in canon, with the thinker power to...understand any language.
Of course, this being Taylor, she immediately heads out and gets herself into a whole lot of trouble. Does she have a plan? Yes, but it's not always a good one.
This is a fic about pushing a 'weak' power to its absolute limits. It's also a fic about Taylor biting off way more than she can chew and then chewing anyway, consequences be damned. She might not be able to beat an average guy in a fistfight, but boy can she be a pain in the neck for anyone dumb enough to think that means they can take her on.

Bookmarker's Notes
Possibly one of the best wormfics I've ever read, and certainly the best Thinker altpower fic. The creativity at play with the different powers and their use is very good, but more than that, Taylor uses her power to frequently get into high-stakes conflict with other powerful Thinkers, Masters, and Strangers, leading to mind-bending scenarios where the opponents trade information instead of blows. I'm especially a fan of the long-standing fight with Coil, which has been going on for dozens of chapters, and the fight against the Simurgh, which continues even long after the Endbringer returned to orbit.
But there are a lot more scenarios that Taylor gets herself in that require the full might of her infinite processing power and ridiculously versatile power; such as Dragon's whole situation, fights against the Protectorate, and delicate probings of Cauldron's operations. The author really manages to move the plot in directions where Taylor gets to shine; it's the classic Worm style of our protagonist fighting (or in this case Thinking) their way out of increasingly complex and dangerous situations. It feels particularly cerebral in that sense, in a good way.
Also there are cute girls kissing. Who could ask for more?

Summary
Kurourushi was a Special Grade cursed spirit who served as a brief antagonist during Jujutsu Kaisen’s Culling Game arc. By the time Yuta Okkotsu had appeared, it had managed to obtain, what was it, 54 points? It, despite being a curse, had been a player powerful enough to force a stalemate between itself and three top-tier reincarnated sorcerers, until Yuta had exorcised it with the power of love or some shit, only for it to come back, and get exorcised again by Ryu’s high-output Biden Blast.
A strong antagonist for sure, and despite the internet rage at the time, they personally thought the cockroach curse had made a pretty interesting fight, and had possibly one of the most dangerous cursed techniques shown by a cursed spirit in the entire manga. That said, you would never catch them wishing to be a FUCKING COCKROACH.
Funny how things played out, wasn't it.

Possibly one of, if not THE best JJK fic I've ever read. Just absolutely phenomenal. Cannot reccommend it enough.

Summary
SSaDC: And what about other concerns? The local facility is filled with Practical and Cultural Necessities— there is simply no space for a whole Iterator to sit, other than where Looks to the Moon is already situated. Unless you wish to suggest something drastic, such as removing the (Technically impractical, but highly venerated) True Anointed Citadel, then your proposal is Dead in the water before it can begin.
FDuGL: That is exactly what I am suggesting.

___
The political climate surrounding the proposal, development, and construction of Five Pebbles was a fraught one. There is no one without an opinion, including the Iterator himself, who has to contend with the rather irritating knowledge that this has all happened before.Series

Very good work. Easily one of my favorites in this fandom already; extremely canon-compliant and interesting. Benefactors are not often important characters (or characters at all) and so it's nice when they are, especially when it's done with such care and thought like it is here. Beyond that, the whole story is very clearly built with a lot of care and attention to detail. Love it.

Summary
Turns out you can't just blow up a planet to make a space-faring species go extinct. Immediately after Samus' mission to ZDR, she finds out that some of the X Parasites survived, and there's no telling where they'll turn up next. And so, though her transformation into a metroid is far from fully halted, she sets out to do what she has always done: finish the mission.
But the X Parasites are not mindless monsters waiting to be gunned down by overwhelming firepower, and if they have their say, the situation will quickly turn into one that an arm cannon can't solve.
