    Okay, maybe not ghosts. Yeah, definitely not that one. Might prove a bit complicated, after all, what with Ilya now being one.

    (Or, there's a ghost, ghost, ghost living in Shane's head, and the ghost is Ilya Rozanov.)

    Ilya grimaced. No, that wasn't fair. Not to himself, and not to Shane. And yet the thought refused to let go of him, circling back again and again like it had nowhere else to land.

    Because if one tiny thing could ruin everything… then maybe it was also true the other way around. Maybe one tiny thing could fix it, too.
