Summary
Alex, a former scientist at one of the most successful toy companies in history receives a letter asking him to find his coworkers, who had gone missing in a mysterious incident that happened over ten years ago. He thought it would be easy. Little did he know, not only was the factory not abandoned, but the inhabitants aren't exactly keen on having visitors... As he makes his way deeper and deeper into the factory, he'll find out why he's there, and what the company has made him do without him realizing.
After all, lies can only stay buried for so long. Whatever it is that Alex gets put through, he has a simple thing in mind.

Summary
this AU takes place during the tape where Doey meets his parents after "acclimating" to his new body. Instead of killing his family, he escapes the room, and rampages throughout the factory. His escapade allowed others to escape as well, and the whole debacle caused such a scandal that the company was shut down. Now, like many of the other toys, Doey has to adjust to his life outside of factory walls. Luckily, The Ayers are willing to help.
