Finding themselves in the past, two days before the key would be stolen, Leonardo thinks they might have an advantage. Take it before anyone else gets the chance to and bury it forever. But when he and Casey break into the museum, they find someone else there, someone that Leonardo swore died five years ago.
He'd like to think it'd make their time in the past easier and better, but maybe fate isn't so easily swayed.

Very well written story! Interesting take on the ChromedomexRewind pairing if Chromedome had made a completely different response to Rewind’s desire to find his ex-lover who had disappeared. Kept everyone in character while making different choices. 10/10 Would read again. Would recommend.

Drift hugs him. He doesn’t have the strength to hug back, but Drift is wrapped around him and squeezing him so tightly he thinks he might burst—solid, lovely, gentle against his chest. Right where his spark is, and he allows himself to settle into the safety, to imagine that maybe one day he could settle into all the touches without fear or shame or guilt. He tries, this time, to allow himself some private comfort in his lover’s hold. It hurts somewhere deep and cathartic in his spark to wrap his arms around Drift’s waist, helm against his chest. They stay like that, raw and open, all wrapped up in each other.

Yeahhh she's found her spirit (or something) trapped in the body of probably-Tailgate with no trace of the original occupant except a very mean HUD. Too bad for her she never actually read the comics.
Laura would like very much to get back to her regular life and give the body she's stuck in back to its original owner, but first, she's going to have to survive canon with only some extremely fragmented knowledge.

The story that almost makes me ship Megatron with Rodimus as canon. *Almost.* It’s so well written and the characters are so in character. It’s just so good. Also, because of the whole Quantum Jump Duplication thing, this implies *both* versions of Megatron gets their happy ending? They’re *Not* Saying Goodbye, after all.
