Celebrimbor has been re-embodied, and he and Annatar have reunited in Valinor. Annatar is desperate to redeem himself, and Celebrimbor, in spite of everything, wants desperately to be able to let him.

Sam stared at Findekáno, utterly perplexed. "The – the tower we are standing in," he said, though there seemed to only grow more confusion (and suspicion, again) in those strange eyes. "In Cirith Ungol?", Sam tried. "On the border of Mordor?"
Or, Sam, Fingon and Lúthien all have a quest so similar that, against all odds, they meet.
