Summary
Vivianne Clarke and Steve Harrington have never liked each other.
Not as kids. Not in high school. Not now.
But when Hawkins starts to come apart at the seams, dislike proves to be a fragile thing, and some misunderstandings take years, monsters, and a great deal of grief to untangle.

Summary
Alice Newby is certain about three things:
1. The midwest really isn’t as bad as people make it seem. You can experience every season to its full extent in a year. People are friendly, for the most part (she’s looking at you, Jim Hopper). And, the landscapes really are beautiful if you know where to look.
2. Steve Harrington uses too much hairspray. Really, nobody’s hair should stick up that straight. She swears it was somewhat contained last year, but now it looks like he discovered what a can of aerosol hairspray can do and ran with it. Yes, she’s aware she needs to stop thinking about Steve Harrington’s hair, but it’s distracting. She can’t help it.
3. There is something going on in Hawkins, Indiana, and the more she finds out about it the more she wants to redact number one. Okay, maybe certain was too strong of a word.

Summary
Rosemary Clarke never planned on finishing high school in Hawkins, Indiana. She definitely didn’t plan on living with her nerdy science-teacher uncle, getting adopted by a bunch of overexcited middle schoolers, or forming an uneasy co-babysitter alliance with Steve Harrington of all people.
But Hawkins is stranger than it looks, and normal keeps slipping through Rose’s fingers. Between Dungeons & Dragons nights, suspicious happenings no one can explain, and one ex–golden boy trying very hard to be better than he was, Rose finds herself building a new life out of grief, bad jokes, and late-night car rides.
There is too much hairspray, cryptic small-town mysteries no one quite wants to name out loud, and two reluctant babysitters who keep ending up on the same side of things. Rose and Steve are determined not to talk about the way they fit together in a crisis… or the quiet, inconvenient feelings that start growing in between monsters, math homework, and middle school dances.

Summary
Before the events that shook Hawkins, Blair Henderson had a complicated past with Steve Harrington. Once inseparable, they drifted apart when Steve moved on, now dating Nancy Wheeler. Blair still carries feelings for him, hidden behind sarcasm and loyalty—especially to her younger brother, Dustin.
As Hawkins plunges into chaos with Will Byers’ disappearance, Blair finds herself pulled into the mystery alongside the kids and the adults, navigating monsters, secrets, and betrayals. While she fights to protect her brother and friends, Blair also faces her own heart: can she accept Steve being with Nancy, or will she risk everything to win him back?
In a town where nothing is as it seems, Blair must confront her past, her feelings, and the darkness creeping into Hawkins, learning that bravery doesn’t always mean facing monsters—it sometimes means facing your own heart.
