Summary
A year after the war is over, the wizarding world is struggling to piece itself together. The Ministry of Magic in all it's wisdom, decided that the only way to help fix the problem is to enact a marriage mandate in hopes of repopulating the magical community.
Hermione is a healer who lives and breathes the job, and has no time for love. Draco Malfoy has just finished serving his one year house arrest and just can't seem to catch a break. They are both just surviving and living with th echoes of their past and who they are supposed to be, while trying to get by a day at a time. Everything changes drastically, when they find themselves matched to each other under the ministry's new marriage mandate. Now they must decided if they take a chance to build something together or do they walk away separately.
Also things get a bit complicated as the marriage mandate shakes up the wizarding world with it's matches and spurs the resurgence of a group of former Death Eaters who will stop at nothing to keep the old ways.

“With that title?”
“Yes.”
“And this is the personal project you wanted to discuss with… me. I am… one of the ‘we’?”
“Well, I wasn’t planning to present it to McLaggen.”
