No one believed her when young Bilbo, born too soon and too weak to cry, survived his first weeks into the world.
They changed their mind when, at four years of age, Bilbo transmuted his mother’s cutlery into a flute and began to play the elven lullaby Belladonna sang for him every night.
It caused a scandal. For the Baggins side of the family, anyway. The Took side had a good laugh.

Kix swallows. Anger bubbles in his throat along with the ever-present paranoia, and he debates on whether or not he should do as she says. Ithano hasn’t turned his head, but he knows he’s watching him out of the corner of his eye. Waiting. Seeing if and when he needs to intervene.
He decides to comply, if only to see the face of who’s asking, and when he does, his heart palpitates.

Sharpness is another fact of life, now: the feel of metal digging into flesh defines his every motion. Given the time and the opportunity, he himself could probably have built prosthetics better than the ones he currently wears.
“Your task, Lord Vader,” Sidious is saying, “is to transform this heap of antiquated softness into a palace worthy of our new Empire.”
In the weeks after Mustafar, Vader must come to terms with his new body and the remnants of his past. In the process, he has a few conversations that he does not expect.

Summary
After dying on the Death Star, Obi-Wan Kenobi expects to; well, die. Instead, he wakes up in the initiate dorms at the Coruscant Temple. The Force has sent him back in time, given him a second chance, and he knows what he needs to do. At twelve years old, his life is at a crossroads. Does he apprentice to Qui-Gon Jinn or does he join the AgriCorps. He knows the fate of the galaxy if he chooses the former and so he dedicates himself to the latter.
Only, the Force works in mysterious ways. When a third option is presented, becoming Yan Dooku's Padawan, Obi-Wan has to make a decision.
