I flinched at the sheer vitriol of my own thoughts. My explosive anger cooled in an instant as the thoughts that had raged through my mind dawned on me. Disgust roiled in my gut. Rip Him apart with my teeth? My nails? Why had I- how could I even think of something like that? Had He inflicted not only pestilence upon me but derangement as well?

Hunting demons was a tricky business.
From their extreme magical abilities, possessed by even the weakest among them, that dwarfed all that humans could ever manage to their nebulous natures that made pinning them down in any real way for exorcisms or banishments next to impossible. Let alone actually killing them.
