Summary
Harry Potter, Auror for the Ministry of Magic, is assigned an international case with MACUSA as an 'expert consultant' - even in 2002 people want Harry Potter to turn up to things based on events in 1981 and 1998 - but whatever these supposed Death Eater sympathisers are doing in Muggle America, doesn't match at all what the Ministry, or MACUSA know about them. These must be something else here...
Cross posted on FFN, will cover multiple years, from 2002 (when Thalia/Luke/Annabeth go to Camp Half Blood) and 2007 onwards (when The Lightning Thief occurs), canon characterisations (no Fem!Harry or demigod!Harry, and Percy is younger than Harry, etc.)

Summary
In one story, Severus Snape killed Albus Dumbledore in Hogwarts, and that was that really, Albus Dumbledore's part in the war with Voldermort was over, Harry Potter would have to take up that burden.
In this story however, after being killed by Severus, Albus finds himself waking up in a cold forest, definately NOT Hogwarts, wandless but not robeless - these were his favourite magenta-saffron patterned robes after all, and gold-blue sunburst waistcoats were so hard to fin-

Albus Dumbledore finds himself wandless, stranded and uncomfortably alone in the North. Well at least he had his watch, and that book on knitting patterns tucked into his inner pocket, so it wasn't a complete loss. Now if he could find out where he was, that would be grandSeries

Summary
What made Elrond Half-elven the person he was in the Lord of the Rings, surely he faced his own challenges and obstacles along the way to being the Lord of Imladris? How did Elvish society actually work, given that by the Second Age most of their grandest buildings were rubble, thousands were dead, their lands were destroyed and those left in Middle-Earth explicitly refused the call of the Valar?

Summary
What if our favorite Jedi accepted a mandalorian's offer to stay. Carve out his own path to serve the balance, not pander to the High Council (and by extension, the Senate)? How would this affect not only Obi-wan, but the galaxy at large. Completely AU, mix of 'Legends' and Cannon as story progresses, to create a more familiar galaxy with some deserving alien concepts.

Initiate Kenobi's life in snapshots. How a humble Jedi Initiate grows within the Coruscant Temple, learns, lives, and laughs in the galaxy.
Again, making Kenobi's life a bit more like Old Ben in A New Hope, with some Legends, cannon, and headcannon mixed in. How did a single Jedi Initiate grow into the famed Kenobi of Legend.
This isn't the beginning, or even the middle, and most certainly not the end. But it is a strand in the tapestry of history that makes up the galaxy, and perhaps, more importantly, the story of Kenobi, and the mess created by a particular initiate born with that surname.

Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi has just been informed of his new rank: GAR General Obi-Wan Kenobi of the 212th. A Jedi does as the Council asks, but leading men to war, that ... does not sit well with him.
Slight AU (I'm including cannon and 'Legends' stories as I go, and some minor changes to Kenobi's background to make him more like old wizard 'Ben' from the originals and remove some elements of his backstory that just don't quite fit).
