Tras salir del Inframundo, tras haber visto a Tiresias y haber escuchado su profecía Ulises se sentía intranquilo, estresado. Estar rodeado por sus pecados y sus errores; la muerte de sus hombres, de personas a las que realmente amaba su madre, su mejor amigo le hizo mal.
Su ansiedad no hizo más que empeorar cuando una noche de vigilia otro barco cruzó su camino. Parecía ir a la deriva, con apenas suficiente peso para delatar pocas provisiones y una tripulación hambrienta o de plano suficientes provisiones y una tripulación demasiado pequeña para tal embarcación, les gritó esperando una respuesta; quizá estaban cerca de un puerto, quizá no fueran hostiles...
Nada.
Intentó de nuevo. Sin respuesta... No podía ser lo que creía, ¿o sí?...
