Laid-back, episodic Bucky Barnes healing fic that revolves around the cooking playlist I made for him. Canon divergent: Steve and Nat both survived Endgame, with Steve returning to his to his pre-serum body. Prequel to my other fic in this series, 'Who We Used to Be,' but both can be read as standalones. (Updates on this one will be a bit sporadic, but I have about 10 chapters planned.)

Summary
Basically just a retelling of the period in episode three of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier where Bucky Barnes is forced to go undercover in Madripoor as the Winter Soldier, but from Bucky's POV/internal monologue. Plus some extra scenes I threw in for added emotional development/more angst. That's all this is it's just Bucky Barnes having PTSD, and bestie Sam Wilson trying really hard to help but being shut down immediately because Bucky is bad at talking about his feelings.
The first time I watched this episode all that I could think about was how traumatizing and distressing this whole situation had to be for him and then we see no emotional repercussions from it throughout the rest of the show so naturally I wrote some angst about it here you go enjoy the angst.

Steve smirked to himself. This kid would feel like a fly against him, he was sure of it.
Peter’s grin widened. “Oh, really? First time someone said they could handle my strength.”
Steve shrugged. “Attempt the punch whenever you’re ready.”
Peter launched forward. The moment his fist connected, Steve was blasted backward, through reinforced walls that would normally withstand a minor explosion, and landed hard on the floor some distance away.
