Summary
Wei Wuxian dies during the siege of the Burial Mounds thinking, at the very least, he’s earned some peace.
He’s wrong. His soul doesn’t scatter to the void. No, it’s caught, pinned, and informed – very politely – that this is what happens when you break the rules of the living and the dead in the same lifetime.“You stepped beyond mortal bounds,” he’s told. “You created an abomination that should never have existed...”
And Heaven, apparently, has time to hold a grudge.
So, as punishment: he doesn’t get to rest. Not in this afterlife. His soul becomes bound to resentment itself, condemned to rise again wherever the cry for vengeance is strong enough to drag him back. Whoever they are, whatever they’re suffering, whatever they can’t finish – that’s his problem now.
Strangers’ faces. Strangers’ lives. Strangers’ revenge plots.
He wakes in the middle of all of them, expected to put things right with whatever strength the body has left. And of course he does, because it’s not like saying “no” has ever worked out for him.
Resentment calls.
Wei Wuxian answers.And it doesn’t take long for the living to realize the Yiling Patriarch never actually stayed dead.

It was after the final exams. Despite the awful outcome- Bakugou bashing his face in, being impaled by a fence post, barely passing- he was ready for the final week of school, before a one-week break, then the Summer Camp. With the finals over, he hesitantly accepted the request for his company at the mall with the rest of the class.
He wished he was surprised that they'd left him behind- even Uraraka who'd made some excuse about "Needing bug spray" but he'd seen the bottle sticking out of her bag. He had turned to leave with a sick churning in his gut and that all-familiar feeling of stress and loneliness that never quite seemed to leave him when a hand wrapped around his throat.
FUcK.This in, Shigaraki gets de-aged and Midoriya "I'm not sending a child to Jail" Izuku takes care of him, followed by a 5+1 of Shigaraki and the league taking care of Midoriya, or Midoriya taking care of him and the League.

Lan Wangji presses his lips together, unwilling to meet the Yiling Patriarch’s gaze.

Summary
There was a small scrabbling sound under the stairs. Rats, most likely. Then the sound of metal clinking against metal, which was unusual – more likely to be the harbinger of a fierce corpse. Lan Zhan readied his sword.
It was not a fierce corpse, but a sadder kind of walking dead: the skinniest dog he’d ever seen crept out from under the stairs and looked at them, hunched over and crouched down in fear, tail tucked between its legs and up against its belly.
Lan Wangji and Jiang Wanyin search for Wei Wuxian, rescue a dog, and fall in love.

Wei Wuxian gasps back into life without a single memory left. His friends, his siblings, his home — all lost to the fog in his head, nothing more than a mystery slipping through his fingers. What else was there to do but carry himself around in bits and parts, trying to become whole, a letter waiting to be written? He is – he is Mo Xuanyu, isn’t he? In this body, with these people. This family. He has to be Mo Xuanyu, he didn’t know anything else, even if the name sounded wrong. That was all he had.
Well, that and Hanguang-jun.
Lan Wangji, for his part, has had his taste of love and lost it. In all his grieving and searching, he didn’t expect to find another.
