Summary
AU where Tikki and Plagg look at their new holders, and decide these kids are too young to fight. So instead of telling Marinette and Adrien how to transform they tell them that they must wear and protect the Miraculouses so Hawk Moth can't find them, then go out to fight akumas themselves. Granted Paris gets a bit more destroyed with Plagg's Cataclysm, but Tikki's Miraculous Ladybug is more than enough to restore everything.
Hawk Moth is frustrated because he has no idea where the Miraculouses are and the kwamis are OP, while Marinette and Adrien still get their kwamis as their companions but aren't in direct danger nor have the weight of being a hero on their shoulders.

Or where Gabriel Agreste has many bad days, Tikki becomes the city's resident anger management counselor, and life is still wild for the citizens of Paris but probably not as bad as it could have been.

“Death.” The boy says and Death’s smiles, all sharp teeth and glowering eyes that instil fear in everything living. The humans who had summoned him before this child had all but cowered in his presence, words failing them as they trembled in fear before him. But, this child held no such regard. The boy’s green eyes gleamed with fascination.
“Yes, child. You have summoned me.” Death acknowledges, and the boy’s eyes widen at the confirmation. “What is it that you want from me?”
He can already make the assumptions. From all his years of existing, Death knows what mortals want from him. Vitality, longevity and power. He peers down at the small frame of the young boy, who seems to hesitate momentarily, before taking in a deep breath.
The boy looks up at him, his eyes determined and Death wonders what the boy plans on asking him. Would it be wealth, riches, fantasies? The boy opens his mouth and speaks,
“Will you be my friend?”
“…Huh?”

Adrien meets Plagg when he was a child. This changes everything and yet nothing at all.

"I can tell by your gleeful demeanor," Sonic retorts.
"Do you even know what those words mean?" Tails asks and rolls his eyes.
"I know a lot of words, I know all of them, actually," Sonic responds and uses his upper body strength to sit up without moving his legs. The hedgehog grabs one of the fox's tails and starts running his fingers through it. Tails only flinches a little when the hedgehog's thumb brushes over the scar at the base, "But that's not the point, you've been acting off ever since you and the kiddos had that talk. They were being nice to you, right?"

Miles Prower never had a home. The first place he knew could’ve been one, Cocoa Island, hadn't been a place he could safely lay down his head to rest. And with no family to protect him, the sound of bombs and the sound of thunder plagued his restless nights.
Miles Prower never had a purpose. He could only flit from place to place, whether by his own defect made asset or by the machines that give his mind something to do besides swirl and spin like his tails. He thinks maybe he could do… something with it someday, but he’s still so small and the world is so big and he’s still all alone.
Until Sonic the Hedgehog comes along.
