Like a black hole collapsing in on itself, a new moon born from two planets colliding, and a dying star sending out one final solar flare as it waves goodbye to thousands of millennia well spent. Even the most grand of everything that ever existed all meet the same pathetic end just to turn back the clock and move forward to another horizon.
Changes and minor deviations are only delays in this unending samsara.
