Summary
When Qui-Gon Jinn died, the Council collectively made several mistakes in rapid succession. The first was allowing a sixteen-year-old Obi-Wan Kenobi to take a Padawan. The second was assuming Obi-Wan would become stricter under pressure. The third was underestimating just how much trouble two emotionally attached disaster children could cause together. Nonetheless, this decision changes the fate of the Galaxy.

It’s not the put upon sigh she would have imagined after listening to Anakin’s rants. It’s soft, reverent almost, and Padmé can feel the emotion pouring through the words.
Anakin looks up at him slowly. “Will you do it?”
The shock crosses his face for only a moment before he nods. Once, then twice, and moves over to sit on the couch beside his padawan, picking up the mirror and cords that hold the braid in place. “Always.”

A small Omega is found by nearly deployed Clone Force 99 in the lead up to the war. She is nursed back to health and cared for by her fellow genetically modified brothers until the day she is stolen back by Nala Se. Nearly half a decade passes before she reappears in front of them at the end of the war, but she has forgotten all that transpired in her past. The Bad Batch are her heroes, not the brothers she used to hold dear and beg for attention.
