The first time La’gaan met Eddie, the pyrokinetic immediately set him on edge. Eddie was warm! Charming! Easy to get along with! Ready with a smile! Welcoming! Likable! Fun! Delightful! Impossible to piss off! Cheerful! He just came across as unquantifiably, irrevocably, insufferably, impossibly NICE.
La’gaan didn’t buy it for a second.
