Summary
In this alternative plot for Shadowbringers, Minfilia is eleven years older than in canon. Despite her extended captivity, a chance occurrence allows her to free herself, and even rise to become the leader of Eulmore. She proclaims a new rule dedicated to the elimination of sin eaters, whatever it might take.
As the Scions arrive in The First, they start crossing paths with Minfilia. Through these interactions, they learn about her motivations and about her, but conclude that she must be opposed. Not only do they have to fight to save their worlds, they find themselves needing to fight to save her.
