Summary
Abel, now separate from Caine, worries for the future of the Amazing Digital Circus and those who reside in it. She calculates that the best way to proceed, to save those inside, is to reveal the Circus to the inhabitants human counterparts and hope they can help. Good thing Riley Verselis has a bar she can book out with a tv.
Six individuals get an invitation for a viewing party at the Triangle Bar. None know what this is about, but all end up there regardless.

Summary
two and a half years after jax's abstraction, six random strangers board one bus together. two of them know each other and strike up a conversation. what ensues will create shockwaves in another, more digital world, years after they've managed to claw their way to a restful status quo.
grant, abigail, lee, zoey, suzie, and riley all decide to find the old c&a building, relocating the server and console to a safer, more stable place: grant's house. with grant and his old coworkers capable of modernizing the software in the circus, old players come back from the dead, shaking things up in the tent.
jax finally gets the chance to be who she was always meant to be, and reconnects with the people she hurt before that. pomni refuses to take any of her lies that she can't in the meantime.
i had to write this so the worms would stop whispering in my ears. i'm not expecting this to be any good, it just deserves to exist.
