    Summary

“Gege rolls so perfectly for this one,” Hua Cheng teased. “Perhaps the cup for his dice should never be found.”

Xie Lian looked away and squeezed his eyes shut, already imagining something completely indecent: himself, sitting on the lap of the famed and feared Hua Chengzhu in this very gambling hall, rolling his dice for every bet he took and presenting them on his tongue like he had been doing. It was a positively shameful image that he couldn’t stop seeing, and that he couldn’t stop blushing at.

Xie Lian returns home from a long day in heaven and agrees to play a very different kind of gambling game with his husband.

    Summary

“I wouldn’t blame you if you had one particular favorite– one that makes your head spin, and your hair raise…” Hua Cheng couldn’t help his wolfish grin as he nuzzled into the soft pillow of Xie Lian’s thigh. “Which one is it, I wonder…?”

Like many things between Hua Cheng and Xie Lian, it starts as nothing more than an innocent tease: which of Hua Cheng’s forms is Xie Lian weakest to, and why? Xie Lian staunchly refuses to play favorites, and Hua Cheng /loves/ a challenge.

After all, he’s seduced his gege plenty of times before. Surely doing it again couldn’t be that hard… right?

(aka: Hua Cheng thinks he might be losing his ‘professional gege seducer’ groove.)

    Summary

Xie Lian sighs. “San Lang, you’re not thinking about him, are you?” He levels Hua Cheng with a look. “You know he doesn’t matter. He doesn’t.”

Hua Cheng shakes his head absently, mind already slipping into a trance of icy wrath. He just buries his head in the crook of Xie Lian’s neck, because honestly? Xie Lian’s touch is the sole factor that’s preventing a lethal snap moment. Whatever Xie Lian says Hua Cheng usually agrees with, but this? Xie Lian is wrong. He matters.

Everyone who has ever mocked, hurt, been cruel to him matters. Those people don’t realize how good they have it. What if Xie Lian wasn’t kind? What if Xie Lian wasn’t thoughtful, gentle, compassionate? They’d all be fucking dead because Hua Cheng would’ve personally hunted them down one by one.
