Eddie tips his head back against the back of the couch and finally looks at Steve, expression confused like he'd just heard something incredibly absurd.
“Wait, you.. you're like- not repulsed by what I did to you?” His eyes are huge with skepticism. He's twisting a lock of hair around his finger. It looks way too adorable Steve finds.
He likes it. He likes Eddie's cute shy little antics, unusually soft. He also likes him confident and loud, all theatrics and over the top. He likes him sweet and he definitely likes him a little mean. Or a lot.
