Summary
It's not a Deal, per se—at least, not in the "magically binding" sense of the word. A mutual agreement between enemies—that's all this was.
In the morning, Vox will return to the muffled sounds of Valentino hurling nearby objects in whatever direction he can, glass shattering against the wall as he shrieks in the face of some unfortunate employee.
The ensuing headache as he prepares himself to de-escalate the situation is near instant—so by god, he's willing to make an agreement.

“Yeah of-,” he croaks, and then clears his throat, “Of course. That’s- Yes, whatever you-” he bites back the ‘want’ that threatens to complete that sentence, unwilling to make it any more obvious than it already is how badly he needs this to happen.

Can't believe I somehow never bookmarked this, rectifying that now - this is still the best Starscream character study I've read and one I come back to frequently (well frequently for me lol)

Summary
When a city pays off a debt by giving Megatron a Seeker - as a prisoner, as a personal slave, whatever he wants - it's an unexpected windfall. There are no flyers in the Decepticon army, and Megatron looks forward to making good use of this one, both on the battlefield and in his berth. But Starscream has his own plans, and he refuses to submit to anyone, even the powerful warlord who claims to own him. A different take on Megatron's and Starscream's first meeting, and how they changed each other's lives. Very angsty, but there'll be a happy ending, even if these two keep dragging their feet along the way.
