Summary
Matthew was sick of living in Alfred's shadow, his own twin brother who would forget he existed in a heartbeat. Matthew's whole life had been spent tucked away behind his warmly beloved brother, soaking up all the warmth so Matthew was left with nothing but bone-deep cold. No matter how hard he tried, he was never enough and never measured up. A lifetime of neglect had taken its toll and left him empty and bitter. When a child is abandoned by a village, he will burn it down just to feel the warmth. He knew it was wrong, but it felt so so good to chase the warmth. Once he started he couldn't stop. He was spiraling into chaos and with each escalation, he couldn't help but feel comfort in the terror he brought.
Or, Matthew unintentionally intentionally becomes a prolific serial killer, unintentionally intentionally disrupting the life of his twin brother and all his friends as he starts on a path of destruction.

Feliciano had been avoiding him lately. Not in obvious ways, he still sent messages, still doodled silly little drawings and sent them to Ludwig. He still waved across the room when they passed at briefings. But something about them had shifted. It had been subtle at first. A silence stretched too long in between jokes. A missed chance to sit beside each other. A warm smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

Summary
Jackie woke up feeling overwhelmingly cold. Her limbs felt like lead, her body was shivering, and her head was pounding incessantly. She groaned and was immediately taken into someone’s arms, wrapped around her body protectively.
“I got you Jax,” a voice said gently.
Jackie fought to open her eyes. When she finally did, she met deep brown eyes that held so much sadness and worry and relief. Looking to her right, she met a head of blonde hair and eyes that shone with a strong protectiveness.
But Jackie was tired, her head hurt, and she had absolutely no clue what was going on.
“Who the fuck are you?” she asked, and then she promptly passed out again, hearing only a gasp from both girls before darkness took over.
