    Solas paused only for a mere fraction of a second before continuing, his pace even more hurried. One of Mythal’s temples. Mythal’s dragon. There was a pattern to such targets and he was not fond of what it told him.

    “Her temple and her dragon?”

    “And me,” Solas confirmed, voice low. Felassan glanced at him, eyes wide. “Tasked with keeping me occupied. Her wolf, as they so enjoy to say.”

    Horror encapsulated Felassan’s face, his aura pulsing deep breadths of fear, of rage, of uncertainty. “They’re going to kill her.”

    A clap of thunder echoed through the Crossroads amidst the crimson-soaked beams of the eclipsed sun.

    Solas began to run.

    Verra Hawke never thought she would find herself trapped in the Fade, let alone that she would have volunteered for it. It dangles hope before her, and if there's one thing Verra's always been a slave to, it's that little voice in her heart called hope. But of course, as with all things, it doesn't come without a price.

    It's not where she thought her life would go, but somehow Hawke's never seemed to know when to quit.
