Summary
For a hair’s breadth of a second, Sam feels nothing but the reverberation of metal against bone, thrumming all the way up his leg. His mind feels strangely separate from his body, as if he’s a spectator in his own skin.
The pain starts slow: a hollow, bone-deep ache and an electrified knife-edge, the sensations mingling with Sam’s building panic. He looks down to ascertain the source, and his stomach bottoms out when he sees the dim but unmistakable glint of a bear trap around his foot.
Oh, God.
After getting separated from Dean on a hunt, Sam steps in a bear trap. Alone in the forest, he must survive the elements, his wound, and a prowling monster while he waits for Dean to find him.

Summary
The pencil skitters across the table, little more than an inch.
(A phantom thrill races through Sam's blood.)
“You did it!” Sam sends Jack a grin, slightly bewildered. Kid’s a fast learner. “Great job, Jack.”
Contrary to the pride Sam expects to see on Jack’s face, there is instead confusion. “That… wasn’t me.”
“What?” Sam’s gaze slides back to the pencil, the innocuous object, close enough to touch. His heart is beating in his ears, staggered, animalistic. “Then how…?”
“You didn’t tell me you had powers too!” Jack says with an excited grin, leaning forward with his elbows on the table. The Nephilim’s childish expression is floating on the edges of Sam’s vision, distorted. Everything feels far away, unreal, dimmed by the echo of pure power running through his veins.
“I don’t—shouldn’t,” he manages to stammer out. His blood is humming just like it used to, alight with the power, and Sam thinks he might throw up. “Not anymore."
Sam’s powers resurface when he tries to train Jack, and he is forced to confront a decade of shame and self-hatred. If Jack, the son of Lucifer, is good, then maybe Lucifer’s demon blood-infested vessel can be too.

Summary
Clark Kent, Sam thinks, is Superman.
Sam’s mind is racing, but his thoughts are quiet: a dangerous, dagger-sharp silence. It seems so simple, now; why else would Lois choose an alien over him if she hadn’t been fooled into falling in love with it?
The thing on the floor—because Nemesis Omega deserves no names, no identity—is looking at him with terrified confusion, eyes flitting between his statuesque face and the green crystal in his hands. Comprehension dawns, slower than it ought to—Sam surmises the effects of this stone on the alien aren’t limited to physical strain. “Nnh—” it chokes out between gasping breaths, attempting to shuffle backwards, away from Sam. “No, you—please, don’t—”
Sam Lane finds the Kryptonite hidden in Jimmy’s room, and Clark Kent collapses. The General puts some pieces together.

Summary
When he was fifteen, Barry Allen disappeared from the West home. There one moment and gone the next, taken by the same man who murdered his Mother.
Ten years later, Cisco and Caitlin stumble across a young man locked in a hidden room underneath S.T.A.R. Labs. Before they can figure out who he is or why he’s there, he and Dr. Wells disappear, seemingly into thin air. As secrets are uncovered and relationships are tested, the people who will eventually form Team Flash have one goal: to find Barry, and bring him home.
Even if this whole ‘Flash’ thing makes everything more complicated.
Or: Eobard Thawne takes a more hands-on approach in mentoring Barry.

Summary
“Mike? Are you alright?”
A wet, choked-sounding laugh. “No, Uncle Henry, I don’t—” The word delves into a series of hacking coughs, and he weakly finishes, “—think so.”
“Where are you?”
“My house.” There is a muffled shuffling sound, punctuated by uneven breaths. “Can you—can you come pick me up? I don’t know… there’s something wrong with me.”
After having all of his organs scooped out by a killer animatronic possessed by his dead sister, Michael does the only thing he can think to do.
He calls his Uncle Henry.

Summary
Adrien smiles as he eats breakfast with Nathalie, smiles as he walks through the halls of his new lycée, smiles as people stop him on the street and tell him time and time again what a "hero" his father was.
(Adrien wishes he could've been a hero, too. He should've been. Maybe then his father would still be alive.)
(But he's surviving. Everyone may be treating him as though he were made of glass, but he can still go through the motions, he can prove them wrong, he can still smile.)
“And you’re… happy,” Marinette spoke carefully, a nervous tilt to her voice, “... right?”
(Adrien has some things to find out.)
