Summary
Artemis has mastered the art of wearing masks, effortlessly slipping into different personas to ensure her survival in a life of blood and cruelty. She’ll do whatever necessary to complete her missions, all to perform to the expectations forced upon her by a malevolent master.

Summary

Summary
Who would've guessed, Astarion mused, that getting kidnapped and infected with a parasitic worm would end up being the best thing that had ever happened to him?

A retelling of the game from Astarion's perspective as a secondary character, focusing on my weirdo bard, Faera, and his confusing, confounding, frustrating feelings for her. Prominently features changes to some dialogue as well as wholly new interactions and personal backstory stuff for my character. "Tav" has a story of her own, now!
Also largely skips everyone else's personal stories cause Astarion generally doesn't care. Such scenes are mostly glossed over with summaries and Astarion's thoughts on the subjects. Eventually includes the introduction of the Dark Urge as a secondary character as well as two more original tadpole-infected characters. All three have separate main stories in the series.
