In a world not quite so magic as the one we know best, Tokyo’s Nerima Ward is a decidedly normal place, distinctly lacking in out-of-control jilted fiancées, no-holds-barred martial arts combat, and suicide pacts. Akane Tendou has just the previous day been introduced to Ranma, an arranged fiancé with a curse to occasionally turn into a brash redheaded girl whom she does NOT want to marry, and she is trying in vain to cope with all the indignities of her station. Out of a clear orange-colored sky, she suddenly receives a call from her beloved Doctor Tofu in which he reveals that he's just found a redheaded woman laying outside his clinic with a very serious head injury.
This woman turns out to be none other than Ranma... herself? Stranded twenty years in her past and badly hurt, Akane takes it upon herself to help 'Ranko' recuperate from her injuries, ingratiate her with the Tendou family, and reconcile the MANY accumulated differences between her current fiancé and the woman he's adamant that he won't become.
But can Akane find a way to send Ranko back to her time? Are they doomed to repeat history? And why does Akane keep getting eerily accurate flashes of foresight around her future wife?

Summary
Akane was a good girl, even if she had a bit of a temper. That's why she went along with being engaged, even though she hated the idea of it.
And that was why she stuck with it, even when it turned out that her fiancé (or fiancée?) had not only a transformation curse, but also one that changed his personality. Stuck with it, even though she couldn't tell which one was the real Ranma.
Did... did he even know?
It didn't matter. She was a good girl. She'd get through this.
Plurality AU! "Ranma" is a plural system with six headmates (each a member of the canon crew with their own curse) and Akane doesn't know how to deal with it.
