It was a bright summer’s day when the ship pulled into port. Salt filled the air and the channel churned calmly as the hustle and bustle of the pier went on above. It was certainly a beautiful time of year to visit the south of England, especially to get some much needed fresh air outside of London’s smog filled streets.
Out of a thousand faces in the crowd, Ryuunosuke and Susato were searching for two in particular, though it had been nearly two years since they’ve last seen them— and that was when Sholmes and Iris surprised them both in Yokohama.

“And, you know…” he says tentatively, his voice losing volume ever so slightly, “if I’m being honest, Mikotoba-san, you ought to know that there’s another reason why I want to work hard and do my best when it comes to studying law here, besides for Kazuma.”
She looks at him curiously, prompting him to continue without saying a word.
“It’s… it’s because of you, too.”
