' “Do you think we will be alright?” Damian asked, trying to keep the hesitation out of his voice.
Damian strained his ears against the quiet, Tim hadn't responded.
“Tim?” Damian tried again.
“Sure we will." Tim drifted into a long pause, before continuing quietly. "We always make it out." Tim promised, words starting to slur around the edges. Damian tried to smother the writhing panic in his chest with the wet relief that Tim was still conscious. He had no clue if their air was limited and hyperventilation would only waste it. '
