"That's not the job, Evan," Tommy turned his head, pressing his lips to the crown of Buck's head.
"That's all you, sweetheart." Tommy murmured into his hair and Buck? Buck was so gone for this man that it was a bit ridiculous. As he lay there, his face smushed against his gorgeous pilot boyfriend's neck, drawing lazy circles on Tommy's shoulder and grinning like a fool, Buck realized he could see a future here. Not a few weeks or months, but years of companionship, of kindness, of stories swapped and gentle embraces, inside jokes and shared closets and--
Oh, he'd done it now. Buck was well aware there was no backpedaling now that his mind had caught up with something he had subconsciously been tiptoeing around since the fateful cat-5 mouth static.
“B’careful there, Tommy… You keep saying stuff like that and I’ll start to think you like me.”
(or, Tommy comes over after a hard shift for Buck and has to herd his overworked boyfriend to bed. Buck gets to be the little spoon, Tommy gets to give his boyfriend the praise he desperately needs, and Buck is still tormented by his lack of a couch and his love of clipboards, somehow)

"If you lose this easily against an infant, I shiver to think of the chaos he will bring in a year or two," The blonde chided playfully, carefully removing the chubby baby fists from Brimsley's hair.
"I must begin looking into a longer term nanny if Her Majesty follows through on her promise of a large brood of these little cretins."
"I am sure parliament would have your head if they heard you speaking of the Royal Babies in that manner, Brimsley." Reynolds couldn't do much to smother the affection in his voice as he took in the sight before him; His partner stood only a foot before him, cradling the swaddled baby to his chest in a distinctly protective manner as he looked to Reynolds, an expression half-way between amused and exasperated set on his face.
"And they'd have yours for gazing upon me with such blatant affection, Reynolds. You have no place to speak, good sir." Brimsley chuckled, lowering his voice.
OR
Brimsley and Reynolds take care of Prince George IV while the King and Queen "view the gallery". Cue adorable shenanigans, one very strong baby, a very brazen move on Brimsley's behalf, and the promise of more to come.

Summary
“Bartholomew… Are you well? I haven’t seen you in many moons, and yet I can still tell when something is amiss.” Reynolds’ voice broke Brimsley out of his reverie.
Brimsley rarely got angry, but both men knew that when he did, it was practically unstoppable.
"Oh, now you ask if I am well! I am touched, Francis, truly! Nearly a decade of me asking after you and finally you have graced me with your presence as if we are still teenagers and not nearing thirty years of age!" Even in his rage, Brimsley's voice was barely above a whisper.
"What...?! Bart--" Reynolds started but was swiftly cut off by the firecracker of a shorter man.
"Don't you dare use my given name right now, Reynolds. You've lost that right."
OR
Reynolds left for Kew with the King after a particularly dangerous lapse in sanity and has practically disappeared from the face of the Earth for a decade. Now thirty, Brimsley tries his best to cope however he can. That all goes to hell when Reynolds finally shows up one rainy night.

Summary
Brimsley had never been one to falter.
Up to this point in his life, he had only encountered two things that could make his step falter. One being dishonesty, and the other being a certain blonde-haired aide to the King.
In some ironic twist of fate, the prior had led him to discover the latter.
OR
Brimsley goes off to wander in the rain after the passing of George's Father as he did when he was a child. Reynolds sees him leaving and decides to follow, concerned for the mysterious boy. Dancing in the rain, anxiety attacks, mild fevers and the coziest of delirium-induced conversations follow. This is my interpretation as to how these two fell for each other faster than you can imagine.
