“What the hell are you doing up here?” Aomine’s voice was low and steady, but beneath it was something else. Something unsettled that Kuroko was unable to figure out.
Kuroko blinked, expression unreadable. “Taking pictures.”
Aomine exhaled sharply through his nose, jaw clenching. His fingers curled slightly around Kuroko’s wrist.
“Get down.”
Or; As a photography college student barely making rent with a part-time job as a photographer for a small sports magazine, Kuroko has found a way to stay connected to the sport he loves on his own terms. But his past—one he tried to bury long ago—has found a way of catching up with him.

How exactly is he supposed to deal with having to be in constant contact with the idol group that had (unintentionally) aided in making his days at Hanpyeong Industries miserable? If his older sister hadn't insisted, he would never have quit his corporate job and changed his career out of nowhere like this. Still, it can't be much worse than working under Manager Nam, can it?

Hal Jordan is smart, more than he acts like. He also has situational awareness despite some's (cough Batman's cough) disbelief.
Batman is broody, paranoid asshole. Nightwing is an angel sent from above and Red Hood is an infamous crime lord. There's Robin, Red Robin, Black Bat and all the Gotham vigilantes who are supposedly unrelated... so why does Hal keep on catching small gestures that indicate otherwise?
Hal is unsure and confused about his whole situation. Batman is being grumpy and the kids... they're fine, right? And Hal's fine too, right? Batman wouldn't make him conveniently disappear, would he?

“What’s wrong with Garp? He’s… a good man. Even if he works for the Marines. A man I came to know through the many battles we fought. A man I would have been proud to call nakama, if he’d ever wanted to join my crew.”
“And he’s also a fucking idiot,” Dadan retorted unimpressed. Honestly, who steps out of Gods Valley still wanting to be a Marine? Seas knew Dragon hadn't. “You think that man can raise a child? He couldn’t even raise his own son.”
“Well… perhaps,” Roger admitted hesitantly. “I didn’t know you were alive, but maybe…”

It was something like an open secret in Gotham, that even though all it’s heroes were open to help no matter the situation, each one of them had a special affinity to certain matters.
For example, children from all districts knew to yell for Nightwing if they found themselves lost and scared. Small business owners often painted little Oracle symbols on their doorsteps, to warn away possible thieves with the knowledge that Gotham’s cryptic hacker had their eye on them. Working girls would send a quick prayer to the Red Hood before seeing their seediest clients; and as such, knew who to call for if things took a turn for the worst.
And Red Robin… well. His was a very specific bunch.
