Agradece que el guardia personal del futuro rey debe irse a entrenar una vez cumple los 14 en tierras imprósperas para demostrar su valía, así que Thordien desaparece por un par de años hasta sus 20 años.
Sin embargo, su regreso no parece ser tan calmo, y Farael no parece estar contento en lo absoluto, ¿O quizás sí?

He feels the weight of something ancient and heavy settle on his shoulders in that moment.
He was in his 1st grade classroom when his teacher screamed at him for making up lies about gods and monsters and scaring the other children. He was eight when his mother's own visions become too much for her to bear.
He's at Yancy when Grover Underwood finally finds him and says "I believe you" for the first time. And as Percy begins to feel lighter, that ancient weight that has followed him his whole life slowly dissipating, he realizes that being believed can be just as horrifying as being thought mad.
