The new fashions taking the ton bordered on the obscene. No, in point of fact, they were indeed obscene. Ladies dresses, designed to mimic the Grecian style, showed their figure through their white muslin dresses. The empire waist drew attention to the bosom and now, now the ladies of the ton took their influence from the French and made their low necklines even lower - to the point where it wasn’t uncommon to see an errant nipple - or a dozen - appear during the ups and downs dancing at a ball.
What if the fashion of the ton was particularly revealing? Would Miss Elizabeth be handsome enough to tempt Mr Darcy?
I just saw a history post claiming women's fashion during the regency period was actually pretty risque. I have no idea if that's true but it got me thinking and voila, my first porn parody. Enjoy.
