“Are you happily married? Or just… married?”
Yor’s face alights fiery red, eyebrows shooting up behind her fringe. “Whaaaat?! I– I am happily married!” she declares. “He's an amazing husband, actually. With what little spare time he has, he puts effort into things like family outings, cooks meals when he can, helps our daughter with homework...” She smiles to herself as she speaks, as if mere thoughts of Loid are so fond to her. “I admire him. Truly.”
Twilight himself feels an odd warmth in his chest at her earnest description of Loid, a tightness that makes his heart beat a skip faster.
Must be heartburn.

Loid’s mouth fell open and he blinked in the face of Yor’s emotional response. Her brows pinched together and she closed her eyes briefly, gathering herself, before meeting his gaze head on.
“I was worried until you jumped in front of that man’s gun and then I was downright terrified.” Yor’s ruby eyes became wet with unshed tears and panic overtook Loid. All his training fell right out the window in the face of Yor on the verge of crying.
