Summary
Ever since Carlos was little, he and his daemon have been fans of Dr. Lyra Belacqua. Both as the most groundbreaking experimental theologian of the 20th century, and as the heroine of dozens of fantasy-adventure children's stories (based very loosely on her own mysterious childhood).
But Lyra's true legacy is still bigger than Carlos ever imagined...until he took a team of scholars to study Rusakov particles in the most theologically interesting community in Hispania Nova. Now his own day-to-day life is full of things like angels, witches, hooded spectres, portals between worlds, vague yet menacing branches of the Magisterium, and a man who walks around without his daemon and can read an alethiometer as easily as a stop sign.

Summary
In one glorious half-hour, Alastor has broken or completed three contracts, freed himself from two separate forms of bondage, and enjoyed a rousing jaunt through nearly half the Pentagram. Incidentally, he may also have shattered Vox’s psyche and his heart. But you know what they say about making omelettes; that was a price he was prepared to pay.
He is less prepared to be personally tasked with unscrambling the eggs.
(A post-canon fix-it following the S2 finale and the events of They Could Have Been Worse.)

Summary
Bond’s fingers undo the first three buttons on his collar, and then he’s pushing it aside, and Q can’t help the sharp intake of breath when he sees what lies underneath the fabric. There’s bruising there, fresh and still forming, red and violet against the agent’s pale skin. Q can see the outlines of individual fingers curling around the side of his neck, far too clear and deliberate to be the result of a fight. Clarity tastes sour in the back of Q’s throat as he realizes, exactly, what Bond meant when he rasped out tried.
The double-oh agents are Q's. The rest of MI6 would do well to remember that.

Summary
“…That gem.” Blue whispered, eyes wide.
In another world Steven had shown it in defiance as he confessed and everyone would have just passed a glance at it before wanting to know how he’d killed a Diamond. In another world Blue was distracted by her grief, her desperation for answers clouding her vision.
In this world Blue Diamond, who had sat in a room filled with bubbled Rose Quartz gems for thousands of years and stared at them until Yellow Diamond arrived to drag her away, noticed something she should have seen before. The gem was too light to be a Rose Quartz. The gem was too clear. It shined too brightly, the light catching it perfectly.
But she remembered a gem similar, a gem that haunted her memories. She saw it when she cried. She knew that gem.
“I know this gem.”
