Summary
Wriothesley spies a couple across the courtyard sobbing incoherently. One of them gets down on a knee, and the cheering that follows is beyond egregious.
“Please, Neuvillette… when you propose, don’t bother with a ring,” he mutters. “Spend the money on something better.”
Wriothesley doesn’t think much of the interaction. Neuvillette, however, does.
Neuvillette, tasked with a job he can’t disclose to Wriothesley, leaves Fontaine and promises to return within a few weeks. When he doesn’t, Wriothesley attempts to talk to him the only way he knows how: with letters.

Summary
"…I would like your advice."
Neuvillette pours Wriothesley's tea for him, seeming to have noticed the empty cup. He picks up two sugar cubes and, exactly to Wriothesley's preference, drops them gently into the tea. As he nudges the cup closer to Wriothesley's side of the table, he continues, "Particularly, on, ah…courtship."
The ten ways Neuvillette tries to court Wriothesley (with Wriothesley's help, funnily enough), and the one way he manages to make it work.

The bite of a leather muzzle over his maw, and the suffocating grip of a saddle on his hide; Neuvillette shivers at the thought, the scales down his spine rippling in revulsion.
“Those wars have passed.” A rumble emanates from Scylla’s chest, an exasperated growl. “My throne is your birthright. You would be a fool to squander it and let us fall to ruins.”
