Seven years on from the war, the Magical society in Britain is slowly recovering, or at least socially so. The birth rates are however frightening and Hermione stands before a difficult choice. At this point, she'll have to comply but her options are her gay best friend, the elusive acerbic Headmaster of Hogwarts, or the Minister of Magic and the pressure of public opinion. The compatibility test speaks for itself, but it doesn't give her any idea about just what her future will be like, especially if she becomes the First Wix to a man quite a bit older than her.

Summary
Severus is barely hanging on. He has no friends, honour or reputation left, and the only ones that will associate with him are death eater wannabes.
When he comes home for summer after his fifth year at Hogwarts, he finds that his mother is dead and his father is missing. To top it all of, some two-hundred-year old contract between the Princes and the Blacks states that Severus has to marry Sirius Black before his 19th birthday.

Summary
Takes place at the beginning of Deathly Hallows. Lucius Malfoy is given a chance to redeem himself in the eyes of the Dark Lord but when unforeseen circumstances happen, he is forced to go on the run with the enemy he is tasked to abduct. He and Hermione Granger must now work together in order to capture and destroy all of the Dark Lord's Horcruxes.
