Ena was absolutely delighted at the thought. So much so that it had her grinning as she imagined Mafuyu stammering and blushing trying to get her words out, maybe even shocked and wide-eyed from Ena’s words of affection. Either way, the results would satisfy her.

Just that familiar sinking feeling that came every time she realized Mafuyu had pieces of herself that Ena couldn’t reach. That she trusted someone else with her quiet moments—someone who wasn’t her.
And it shouldn’t matter. It shouldn’t.
