Summary
Life as a babe starts with screaming, confusion, fear, anger, and a strange sense of off-ness (otherness). It doesn't get much better with your mother. It's better with your new master, you suppose, when your strangeness can be disregarded as a result of trauma and not just something inherently you. Your new father-figure is nice enough, either way.

Hey, thought I'd post some of my work from Fanfiction.net here. Like the other platform, I probably won't upload all that often, since I should be studying more.
1) Fall: Aphmau falls, but not really; they learn that Irene always rises.
2) Enki's Library: Aphmau is alike Irene in many ways and simultaneously, somehow, none at all.
3) Alina: Alina is the light of her life, one of the few remnants of the man she had loved (too much; too late) once upon a time.

Summary
When Yusami finds out she's been dropped into the Naruto universe, she doesn't know if she should feel relieved or cheated to have missed out on all of the cool ninja stuff.
"Both" she decides as she looks down at her favorite customer and wonders how she can sneak extra veggies into his bag without him noticing, "Definitely both."
Or: a self-insert becomes a simple grocer in Konohagakure and decides that if no one else is going to adopt the baby protagonist, then it's free real estate.
Featuring: a civilian woman beating Danzou at his own game, Naruto finding the love he's always deserved, and a hefty amount of ANBU operatives wondering if the Uchiha are accepting volunteers for that little coup/revolution.

She reaches out to hook a hand in Shisui's pant leg and blinks at the child from the sandbox, now identified as Sasuke. He blinks back.

Takayanagi Kyoichiro swears he's not suicidal, he's simply a suicide enthusiast. He can admit, however, that suicide via carbon-monoxide poisoning might have been more pleasant than getting flattened by a 600-pound truck.
Ah, well, he's here anyway, he might as well enjoy the happy retirement life he didn't get to have before.
Unfortunately, he has landed right in the middle of wartime, and there are homicidal ninja coming in for his advice. Just because he was a high school counselor and teacher who knew how to deal with emotionally unstable teenagers doesn't mean he actually enjoys the job, so please go away, thank you.
