He leaned down, his eyes sharp. “Midoriya, I like you. A lot. More than I think I’ve ever really liked anyone. I want to go on a date with you.”
Time slowed down.
Did Izuku want to date anyone at all? He’d never really given thought to being in a romantic relationship before. Sure, he’d had passing fancys, but...
Was it so different from being friends with someone? It was, wasn’t it? Being someone’s boyfriend meant going on dates, doing things like holding hands and eating crepes together. Was that something he wanted to do? Something he wanted to do with Todoroki?
Todoroki wasn’t the type to be forward with his feelings. To do something this bold meant he’d given it a lot of thought. He was so brave! Izuku would have never had the guts to come out and just ask someone out like this. Why was Todoroki so much cooler than he was? If Todoroki was willing to put himself out there like this, then Izuku should have the decency to really consider him. Ask to have some time to think about this, and give a proper response in no less than three days.
He opened his mouth to say that.
“Okay,” he said instead. “I’d love to go out.”

Summary
Every dragon dreams of finding their mate. During the wars when mages’ were nearly wiped out hope of finding a mate almost died, but now as more start to appear worldwide hope is spreading.
Tim isn’t bothered about finding his mate. He’s happy as he is working with his clan and being with his brothers.
Fate seems to have other ideas. When a mission takes too long to complete Bruce calls in for backup, and when they arrive Tim finds himself instantly drawn to one mage in particular. Not knowing how to handle his attraction to the gorgeous mage, Tim avoids him and pushes him away and successfully creates tension between them.
Things get heated as they’re forced to work together and the tension only thickens as a not so surprising revelation occurs. Losing the battle against his attraction for the mage Tim slowly comes to terms that maybe it’s not so bad after all, perhaps they could get along but only if the mage stops grating on his nerves all the time.

"Do I?" Shouto asks, bemused.
"I have - back pain. My ankles are shot from too many rough landings. I snore, and I need glasses, and my knees pop every time I get out of bed in the morning." He shakes his head, sighing. "It's embarrassing, you should divorce me."
"We haven't even submitted the marriage registration yet," Shouto points out.
"Then maybe you should run away while you still can!"
Shouto blinks. "Because your knees pop?"
"Because I'm - old and worn out!"
"But isn't that the whole point of getting married? That we can take care of each other as we get older, and make sure we aren't pushing ourselves too hard?"
Izuku purses his lips.
"The point is that I forced you into a stupid pact in high school about getting married to each other if we didn't marry other people first, and now here we are! Cutting the cake and tossing bouquets!"
Ah, Shouto thinks. This again.
As third years, Izuku and Shouto decide to get married. Fifteen years later, they actually do it.
