Summary
At 28, Nick Nelson is living a life that should make him happy: he's got a good job, solid mates, and an on-again-off-again girlfriend he's known since secondary school. But for years, maybe as long as he can remember, he's felt like something was missing. Worse, he can't shake the nagging fear that he's the problem, that something might be wrong with him.
Charlie Spring is only 27, but he's already divorced, burnt out halfway through his masters degree, and his mental health is held together by twine and prayers. The only thing that gets him out of bed most days (other than his menagerie of pets) is his work as a wildlife rehabber at the Haven. While text reviews are helpful, he’s always been more of a visual learner. After quickly finding out that YouTube reviews are of no use, he decides to visit a certain website that he hopes will provide him with the answers he desperately needs.
What he isn't prepared for is stumbling upon a stunningly gorgeous man with a pair of amber eyes that stir butterflies in his stomach. To make matters worse, those eyes seem to appear everywhere afterward—in his thoughts, in his dreams...
