He thinks of his friends from other dimensions and notices his interdimensional portal is starting to make some weird noises...

This is literally everything I wanted in an episode! I've been thinking about how Gyro must feel knowing that he helped build the rocket that lost three kids their mother and I was so 𝙜𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙙 that he and Della have had pretty much zero interaction since she got back. It was a perfect opportunity for some bittersweet angst.
