Loki could not feel more disconnected from his family. As his brother Thor is ascends the throne, he must still work magic in secret. Magic that seems to...weaken Loki and make him irritable and needy. Across the realms, the Jotunn queen Laufey still mourns the kidnapping of her infant . She seeks him out in the Æther with the hope of being reunited. Partly because he is her precious son, but also because he was the kærleika - the most powerful mage known to the Jotunn and one in need of the very special care only a mother can give. Thor decides to drag Loki along on a 'last hurrah' to Jotunheim and it is there Loki is stolen away, back to his family to be raised like a proper kærleika - with a proper nursery! Lots of love and snuggles and some angst too as Loki tries to accept his new identity and deal with the separation from his brother and Frigga. Idea inspires by and gifted to OkeyDokeyLoki. Loki's plan has gone very wrong, leaving him exactly where he never wanted to be: on the Throne. Grappling with a terrible knowledge best left in the dark. And it can be no coincidence that on Thor's Coronation, the day ends with a Frost Giant changeling holding the King's Spear. Afterall, why else would Frost Giants enter the Vaults of Asgard, other than to trick Thor into triggering a war Jötunheimr has lusted after since the Casket of Ancient Winters was taken from them?Meanwhile, the looming war opens old wounds for young Prince Helblindi and Býleistr, who still remember the night their baby brother was stolen as insurance by the King of Asgard. But perhaps this new Regent can be reasoned with?

Summary
This is a rewrite of Harry Potter, from the summer before the fourth year. It's my take on how things could have gone. It is heavily inspired by Lily's Boy by SomewheresSword - mostly. I added the creature bit. The different Creatures I will be using for the characters are inspired by Ignite the Spark by Angelwithwingsoffire.
