Caitlyn entró en pánico, sintiéndose extraordinariamente desprevenida después de haber sido empujada a su nueva posición sin siquiera un manual para consultar. ¿Cuáles fueron las formalidades? ¿Con qué se suponía que iba a responder? ¿Dónde estaba el maldito botón para hablar...?
"¿Hola? Dije Houston, ¿me copias?"
Caitlyn jugueteó con sus auriculares, habiendo finalmente encontrado el botón verde en el costado y soltando apresuradamente una respuesta bastante sin aliento. "Um, sí. ¿Hola? Este es Houston. Te copio".
Hubo una larga pausa en la que Caitlyn se sentó girando sus pulgares, la ansiedad empujando el pulso frenético de los latidos de su corazón a través de sus tímpanos. ¿Eso estaba mal? ¿Ella ya la cagó? Tomó una respiración profunda y constante, con el dedo flotando sobre el botón de conversación hasta que la voz familiar del astronauta entró a través de sus auriculares una vez más.
“Mierda, Houston. No esperaba que sonaras tan sexy".
