Jonathan pressed his numb face against the snow as the Count’s breath roiled the air above him. Oh, let it be quick, as quick and merciful as such a thing could be. Let it be better than the wolves would have been.”
Jonathan Harker invites catastrophe by falling asleep in the west wing and provoking the appetites of three voracious brides. When he does himself no favors by fleeing into the snow-blanketed night, rescue comes from a savior both savage and sweet. As his terror begins to thaw, Jonathan must decide whether to trust the fierce protector his vampiric host has become, challenging his understanding of danger and desire.

Post Blood and Wine.
Much has changed since Geralt of Rivia had been released from prison after he let the vampire Dettlaff van der Eretein go. While visiting the Duchess Dandelion found evidence that the whole of Sylvia Anna’s childhood traumas were orchestrated by the Duchess in order to gain control of the duchy for herself. A coup was staged, and Damien de la Tour is currently in control of the duchy. With the help of Yennefer of Vengerberg, he is holding the duchy together till the Emperor can arrive and set up a new line of succession for the storybook state.
With Regis having been gone for close to a year Geralt held out little hope of ever seeing his friend again, but when a new conspiracy comes to light, this one deeper, more insidious than the previous, Damien de la Tour pulls Geralt from retirement. Regis and Geralt are tasked with one of the toughest battles they will have to face.

Čarodějnický svět je v ohrožení, neboť Vyvolený se zřejmě nedostaví včas, aby mohl skončit válku, jež začala už před jeho narozením.

Summary
Rewrite of Blood and wine ending
The reality of the situation that Geralt had found himself in was dire. He was at his wits’ end, as the vampire Dettlaff, the Beast of Beauclair, finally made good on his threat to send his forces down upon the jewel of the Duchy. He knew that the carnage that was being wrought, at least at the moment, was a warning shot. The vampires had caused enough trouble to make the streets chaotic, but most waited in the wings. Most, meaning there were hundreds more vampires laying in wait to lay waste to the city. The ideal option should have been to take Syanna, the deposed princess to meet with Dettlaff as asked. It was surely a simple ask, one which any sane person would have agreed to, But the Duchess Anna Henrietta had made it abundantly clear that Syanna was to remain hidden, imprisoned, inaccessible, and that she had no want to ease the situation by giving her sister up.

The company is just captured in the Misty Mountains, but in the goblin town there is a strange exhibit. A man? The king says he fell from the sky half dead and was meant to be sold to Azog as a plaything, now along with Thorin. But Loki was just resting and upon Gandalf's arrival escapes with them. He is not trusted immediately, but comes along and aids them with feats of magic, to Gandalf's worry. Loki's motives are elusive to them at best and his power more so. Whereas Loki himself is delighted at the feeling of the mighty ring nearby and dozens upon dozens of chances at causing mischief and chaos, until he meets the greatest of beauties in one Elvenking and a dangerous fascination in one stupendous dragon. And that only complicates who to choose, or to go home where he never belonged before and if so, how?
In Short: Loki falls from the Bifrost to Middle-Earth during The Hobbit and it has consequences.
NOTE: This story has now been revised so I don't get a fit rereading my old writing as I re-immerse myself to finally end the series' hiatus.
