Summary
Eight years had passed since Felix delivered the miraculous straight to Shadowmoth. What felt like the end of the world at the time had become just another date in the history books. As the world changed, most things stayed the same. Marinette was still a hero, Adrien was still a hopeless romantic, and Lila was still a manipulative, evil little- well, you get the point.
The things that had changed, though, left the greatest impact. Lila's lies were finally exposed, and friends were forgiven in the aftermath. Battles had been won and miraculous had been recovered, causing Monarch to keep those he still had close to his chest. Most of all though, Chloe Bourgeois had completely turned her life around. It was a long and difficult process, but after basically disowning her own mother, apologizing to those she'd hurt, returning as Queen Bee, and starting a relationship with the girl of her dreams, many who knew Chloe Bourgeois during collège would hardly recognize her. Then, more than any other time in her life, Chloe was happy.
Of course, that was before she woke up trapped five years in the past and realized she had lost it all.

Summary
Marinette is the Star of the Order of the Miraculous, the still-in-training head, as well as the True Ladybug leading the Court of Miracles. After years at Hawkmoth's mercy, Marinette has decided that enough is enough and is reaching out to Batman, the detective of detectives to help her track down the villian's true identity. What better way to do this than a field trip to Gotham?
Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby).
A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, comeuppance -- and marriage?!

“Who are you?” She asked, her bluebell eyes staring widely at me. The voice that came out of her mouth was terrifying… It was… Mine? But how could it be? Was this some sort of prank?
“Who am I?” I asked, walking closer to get a better look. “Who are you?”
“What do you mean? I’m Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the one and only. You know, the girl who designed not one, but two of Jagged Stone’s album covers? The one that won one of fashion icon Gabriel Agreste’s competitions? Now, who are you?” the stranger, me, sneered, walking a few paces closer to me.
“You’ve got it wrong,” I began, my eyebrows crinkling in confusion. “I am Marinette, and these are all of my friends.” I made a gesture around the classroom at my peers.The sequel to this is called "Through the Wringer," and is published!

And in the Undercity, kids don’t stay kids for long. Jinx has grown up around this nonsense for years. So she bites the proverbial bullet and decides to see what all the fuss is about.
“It was one time!” Jinx complains in sheer disbelief. “It wasn’t even that good!”
