Summary
Aerion found himself thinking, with a flicker of malicious interest, that simple men often revealed the most interesting edges when cut open properly. Dunk, for all his size and plainness, had one of those faces that did not hide pain well. Aerion had seen enough of him already to know the knight carried things in him and around him with the stubbornness of a pack mule. He did not ask much, it seemed. He endured, and he answered, and he went where he was told. A man like that might prove surprisingly stubborn when taken apart.
Or useful.
“You’ll grow tired of this,” Aerion said, after a dull few moments of quiet. This time the answer came at once.
“I don’t tire easy.”

Summary
When Prince Aerion Targaryen wakes aboard a viking warship, halfway across the seas, he finds himself a captive to a towering warrior who knows nothing of courtly manners and respect.
For Dunk, the return to Storm’s End should have marked the end of a successful raid. Instead of silver, he is saddled with a new thrall. The sharp-tongued, stubborn silver-haired prince proves to be far more trouble than he’s worth. Though Raymun keeps telling him to ‘think of the ransom’.
On a night of the week long celebration feast, far from anything familiar, Aerion finds himself cornered by dangers he cannot fight alone. Pride would have him stand unyielding for a prince never bows. But in this foreign land, he is forced to rely on the one man who now owns him.

Fuck Duncan, Aerion thought, though without the conviction he would have preferred. Fuck Maekar. Fuck the trial. Fuck every lickspittle and noble fool who had watched him and judged him and found him wanting because the world had always enjoyed the spectacle of a young man being cut down to size. Fuck the dragon egg that had not broken open, fuck the gods that had left the dragons to die, fuck the whole dead inheritance of it. He let the thought sit in him for a moment, hot and black and comforting in its ugliness, and then turned a page of the book without reading it.
Or: a self-indulgent porn with plot where Dunk goes to Lys with Aerion and they both fuck about it.

Aerion finished his joust match as before: he killed the horse, injured Ser Humfrey’s leg, and got banned from the tournament. But he was too tired from his father’s lecture to visit the commoners’ markets, so the next day the tournament continued.
He sat in the highborn seats and watched the boring joust.
Now, it wasn’t so boring—when the wooden lance of some stupid inexperienced huge hedge knight came flying toward his father and uncle’s seats. Both were chatting with some lord and unaware until Aerion abruptly pushed them out of danger. The lance struck deep into the prince’s side. Blood was everywhere.
And that stupid knight? He now owes him a massive debt.

Bruce stares at him, blinking with his huge blue eyes. His sweaty hair sticks to every side, and he rubs his nose with the heel of his hand.
He is unharmed.
The only problem is that he is, approximately, appears to be thirty-something years younger.
Well. Isn't that just great.
"Ah. I see." Khoa says, admittedly flabbergasted. There is a silence after that, with them just staring at each other for a long minute until he breaks it.
